Going Global - Etsy

One way to expand our selling base, is to sell to a community that is interested in buying Handmade

Etsy ( it rhymes with Betsy) is a social commerce website focused on Handmade or vintage items, as well as art and craft supplies.  These items cover a wide range including art, photography, clothing, jewelry, toys..... and the list goes on.

The mission of Etsy is to enable people to make a living making things,and to reconnect makers and buyers

The Etsy community spans the globe with buyers and sellers coming from more than 150 countries.

I joined Etsy in  April 2009  to reach a global market.
I have found it to be a very successful platform for my New Zealand Handmade creations
