Our local community...

Today was our regular 'made it here' get together and we decided since we had a few friends join us today... Pam from Fantail Digital Art who was visiting from up north and Tonya who is a new local online seller that we would catch up in Ahuriri at Hep Set Mooch and have a wander around the local shops and art galleries.

Port o' Call... Ahuriri

I always come away from our regular 'made it here' get togethers feeling inspired and motivated.  There is nothing like being part of a group of people who are on the same creative wave length, who are struggling through the same processes and understand that need to make stuff...  A sense of community is a very important part of my creative process and I really appreciate the support and understanding these woman offer.

  1. I love the "... understand that need to make stuff" sentence Katherine.

The creative muse is a right NOW kind of woman, ignore her at your peril! She's a fast mover when my attention is not right on her.

Sounds like a delightful meet up, wish I had been there!
