Autumn in New Zealand
What fun to make a wool pumpkin to sit on your kitchen table
You will need some carded wool, a needle felting needle and a foam pad
Wrap about 12 inches of wool around your fingers to form a ball
Needle felt it firmly, shape it into an oval as you go
Now make 5 lines, radiating out from the center, poke the needle in firmly to create creases
Take about 5 inches of green wool, and fold in half, needle felt half of it, firmly on the foam pad
Spread the green out from the bottom into 5 pieces ( like an octopus's tentacles ) and place on top of pumpkin and needle felt in
And there you have it, your very own Harvest pumpkin

So cute Marie. I have everything I need to give it a go except the right colour wool. Mine will have to be pink and blue :) Lol
